Promoted by Lemann Foundation, the Brasil on Campus (BoC) program is a community that brings together Brazilian students at leading universities abroad (Columbia, Harvard, MIT, Stanford and Oxford), providing opportunities for development and connection. In 2024, BoC established itself as a strategic Brazilian leadership community abroad, playing an important role in its own events and initiatives, such as Brazil at Silicon Valley, in Stanford (USA).

Brasil on Campus meeting, held in May and June, was a highlight of the year. During a weekend of immersion, the Network came together to reflect on anti-racism, well-being, careers and leadership, deepening bonds and bringing values into line. During this same time, members took part in the Brazil Forum UK, in Oxford (UK), in exclusive meetings with Brazilian leaders.

The Social Impact Career path, having support from the Choice Movement, featured workshops and content aimed at professional development with a sense of purpose. In November, the partnership with Guia Negro (Black Guide) promoted two meetings focused on equity.

Brasil on Campus Meeting.
“Among the many initiatives offered by Brasil on Campus, the connection event in Boston was the most important for me. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had abroad—very well designed, with a unique energy and incredible people. I really value face-to-face moments, especially because, even with so many virtual activities, we don’t always manage to devote the same attention and presence. And often, even in universities with more Brazilian students, we lack this purposeful space for connection which the event managed to create so well. I also wanted to highlight how valuable mentoring and the “quilombo” community paths have been throughout the program. These are places for listening, support and collective construction that have really impacted me on my journey abroad.”
